Amanda Todaro is a Freelance Costume Designer and the Costume Shop Supervisor at the Arden Theare Company in Philadelphia. She is also the Shop Manager of Upper Darby Summer Stage. Some of her favorite designs include The Marvelous Winter Wonderettes and Noises Off (Walnut Street Theatre), Charlotte’s Web and Every Brilliant Thing (Arden Theatre Company), Field Hockey Hot (11th Hour Theatre Co.) and Reefer Madness (TUTS Underground). Amanda is also a repeat designer for Drexel University’s Fall and Spring Dance Ensembles.

During her schooling at Mason Gross school of the Arts at Rutgers University, Amanda interned with internationally known designer Holly Hynes, and with designer Dan Lawson on the CBS’ The Good Wife. After Graduation, Amanda was a Costume Apprentice at the Walnut Street Theatre and continued working there as a stitcher for 5 years before moving to the Arden.

In November 2011, Amanda designed a set of costumes that were worn on the “Costume Episode” of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
